About Marc:
Marc is a graduate of Coventry High School in Akron and studied computer science at Kent State before taking some time off. When he isn’t eating, cooking or seeking out new food, he has a passion for trying new and somewhat odd beers. Aside from his gastronomical interests, he is a devoted sports fan, with the Indians in particular being his team of choice though he is also a Penguins and Jaguars fan. His other interests include video games, classic rock and traveling when he gets a chance.
About Zack:
A lifelong resident of the Akron area, Zack is the editor and co-writer of “Men vs. Food” (named as such to avoid a lawsuit from the Travel Channel, although the phrase has been used a few times on the show). His goal is to visit every restaurant featured on the show, regardless of whether it features a challenge. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Akron in December 2010 with a degree in Urban Planning, and anticipates on going to graduate school at Miami of Ohio starting in August 2011. He currently works with the Lights Help Project, which helps fix malfunctioning street lights in University Park.
Although Zack is an avid fan of the show Man v. Food, he also enjoys watching sports, working out, traveling and playing the guitar. Some of his favorite sports teams include his Akron Zips (especially their soccer team), the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Browns and the historically pitiful Cleveland Cavaliers. His favorite cities are Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, New Orleans and Washington, DC. His least favorite cities are Pittsburgh (for obvious reasons), Baltimore (also for obvious reasons), Miami (for more than that very obvious reason) and Boston. He’s also tried reaching out to the Travel Channel, trying to convince them to visit Akron for an episode (the results of his video have yet to be determined).
